What is Kink Bingo?

Since there is never enough kink fic in the world, and since games are a good way to challenge people to write outside of their usual comfort zones, we have designed Kink Bingo. Sign up to participate, and we'll give you a bingo card with 24 kinks on it. You then pick which kinks you want to write in order to make a bingo (a single straight line, horizontally, vertically, or diagonally; blackouts and X's also count as bingos). Each kink must have its own story of at least 500 words (or, art and vidlets are also acceptable to fill kink prompts). Once you've completed a bingo, you post a link to your stories/art/vidlets in the community, and we score your points. You can play as long as you like, in as many fandoms as you like, with as many pairings as you like – if you keep writing, we'll keep adding up points. Once you've completed a bingo on your card, you can either keep going on that card or request a new card from the mods. You cannot request a new card until you've completed at least one bingo on the card you're given.

The second round of Kink Bingo will run until August 31st, 2009. If you don't finish a bingo by September, that's fine! It's not an exchange, so it's not a problem if you don't finish. You can continue posting after September 1st - but after September 1st, you no longer win prizes.

Win Fabulous Prizes!

After September 1st, we'll be announcing the winners for First, Second, and Third place (based on our points system – basically, how many bingos and extras you've completed). We'll also be giving out prizes (judging to be done arbitrarily by the mods) for various arbitrary categories that we will make up arbitrarily. Also, for certain special challenges, you will receive an icon or other small prize, just for being awesome.

The prizes will be stories, art, icons, or podfic donated by players. If you'd like to make prizes, drop us a line: kink.bingo.mods at gmail dot com.
